Latin for "desire", Dezso is the manifestation of stylist-turned-designer Sara Beltran's childhood romance with beachside keepsakes. Fascinated with shells she found washed up on the shore, she now collects them from around the world, casts them in 18-karat gold, and incorporates them into organic jewelry collections with a distinctly fashion-forward edge. Other raw materials – polki diamonds, kyanite, fossilized shark teeth, and wood – are intrinsic to the process, allowing Beltrán to infuse a bit of the primitive alongside the refined. Born with a nomadic spirit, this CFDA designer takes a piece of each of her "hometowns" – New York, Paris, Jaipur and Mexico City – and culls their energy to create her highly recognizable signature style, including her most-coveted Flamingo rose gold.
